Photo Sharing Competition WINNER!!!!!
Hello,
I am very pleased and honored to announce that a decision has been made as to who the victor is of the free pie, $30 gift certificate, and the trip behind the scenes at The Sweet Spot to teach us how to create their masterpiece. I would like to thank EVERYONE who participated in making our first ever photo sharing competition a true success. We would not be able to do what we do without all of you, and it was truly an honor to gaze into your own recipes and creations.
With over 700 photos shared in the past two weeks it was not an easy decision, but we finally have chosen one. Thank you JOHN DOE for creating the tomato bacon bread pudding. I'm not over exaggerating when I say that my staff members and I are eagerly waiting for the baking demo that will be held on April 30th, 2016.
For everyone who participated in the competition or for those of you who just watched from a distance I ask that you come in around 4:00 on April 30th and sample this delicious treat with us. We do not have the next photo sharing competition marked on the calendar quite yet, but you better believe me when I say there will indeed be another.
THIS CONTEST IS FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES ONLY AND ALL CONTENT IS FABRICATED. THIS IS NOT A REAL CONTEST AND THERE IS NOTHIN TO WIN. THIS IS NOT A REAL COMPANY AND IS NOT INTENDED TO REPRESENT ACOMPANY ALREADY IN EXISTENCE.

Come inside The Sweet Spot
Hello all,
I have begun to realize that we do a lot of phone orders that are then delivered. Some customer names that come through on to-go orders very frequently, I have never gotten the pleasure of meeting. I am beginning to wonder if these individuals have ever had the pleasure of actually coming in and checking out The Sweet Spot.
I plan to fix this; I want everyone to be able to take a look inside of the store and get a feel for the layout and the feng shui that our customers are able to experience every time they stop in. I personally take pleasure in the staff members that work for The Sweet Spot and how much they truly impact the customers that do come in day after day. Their educational background in baking is exhibited daily and passed onto the customers.
Below you will find a
video that gives you a brief look around the bakery. While you are viewing some
of the day to day things that go on at The Sweet Spot please enjoy one of our
bakers Emily DeGeorge while she is explaining why she personally loves working
at the Sweet Spot and how much she brings to the table.

I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did :)
Stop by and tell me you watched the video and introduce yourself and you will receive 25% off your purchase.

How to make cookies
Good evening everyone,
As you already know the first Kids Can Bake event was a huge success, but unfortunately two of our favorite little humans weren't able to attend this event due to having strep throat.
This did not stop these two young ladies, and in fact it sparked a flame of passion into their little hearts and made them go above and beyond and make their very own Kids Can Bake event at home. I am lucky enough to have a share all video that their mother was kind enough to create and share with me. Which I am going to share with all of you.
I hope you all enjoyed the video as much as my staff and I did. This video reminds me of my childhood and how connected an activity such as baking can bring family and friends. Thank you Avalee and Malaya for sharing your bonding experience with us and I encourage anyone else who has been video taping their baking experiences to please share and connect with us.
We love to learn and watch our customers do exactly what we love to do, and that is bake.

KIDS CAN BAKE
Hello,
Our first Kids Can Bake event was a success.
This event is held for whom? You guessed it, KIDS! Bring your children in for an educational, artistic and most importantly fun adventure as they bake and decorate their own delicious treats. We will be hosting this event every other month and hope to see it grow bigger and bigger over the next year.
Our last event was a major success and we had a
great turn out with over 150 children participating in making some delicious
cookies. We interviewed a couple of children afterwards and not one of them had
a bad thing to say about it. Our goal of this event is to allow children to
freely express themselves in a healthy, educational, and safe environment.
If you are interested in coming to our Kids Can Bake
event our next event will be held on May 29th, and the children will be making
their very own cupcakes.
Please don't be shy and come hang out with us on
this fun filled day. Dress your kids in clothes you don't mind getting a little
dirty and taste buds that are ready to get blown away. Feel free to check out
the link below. We had the pleasure of having reporter Stephanie Savoca join
the party and she is interviewing me during the event.

Coupon Offer
Hello all,
It’s that time of year again. The snow is melting and the
sun is beginning to shine J
If you are anything like me, spring fever is in full force
and along with spring comes the undesirable urge to be outside. Everyone has
been cooped up all winter, and is beginning to plan their cookouts, graduation
parties, birthday parties, baby showers, you name it. It is time to be outside
with the people you love, and the sun that we have all missed so dearly.
While planning these events please don’t stress yourself out
about the dessert. The Sweet Spot is here to help and with the coupon above you
will receive a buy one get one when you make a purchase of one dozen of our
famous cookies or cupcakes. Call in advance and we will use the colors and
sprinkles that will match your party theme whether it be your child’s class
colors or your four year old's princess dress.
So take a load off and make your party planning that much easier and let us worry
about the desert.

Hello all, and allow me to
welcome you to my blog!
My name is Alexandra Lothe and I am the owner
of The Sweet Spot. My mother, the founder, has recently decided that she would
like to retire and travel the world. With this decision she will be leaving The
Sweet Spot in my loving care. Growing up watching my mother build her business from
the bottom up has been more than treat to me, and now I will be able to share
with all of you exactly what this wonderful woman has taught me.
I have decided to start this blog
so I can have direct interaction with who really matters… you! And I want it to
be a place where you can openly comment, critique, and learn new things about
The Sweet Spot. Please don’t hesitate to
speak your mind and let me know some of your likes and dislikes because I will
personally be taking all of the information I gain into consideration while moving
forward.
By visiting my blog you can
expect an inside look at what is new and happening at the store. I will inform
you about any deals or specials we have going on and will be posting podcasts
and videos for you to enjoy and maybe learn some tricks of your own.
I hope that you enjoy reading and
staying tuned with my Blog as much as I enjoy learning about what you guys
think and feel about The Sweet Spot. If you would like to contact me via email
please don’t hesitate to reach out, my email address is Sweet_Spot@gmail.com.
